Discovery of the Day

I know. I really should be working, but I've been dying to share a gem which I discovered a few days ago whilst...yes, I hang my head in shame...tweet-stalking. Lol. So what is it, I hear you ask? It's a website which lets you design your very own bespoke women's shoes - just how cool is that??! All you have to do is choose one of the ready designs available, tweak it here and there to give it some of your very own personality, choose your material, colours - click, click, click - and voila! There you have it - your very own one-of-a-kind-can't-find-it-anywhere-in-stores-damn-bloody-unique shoes! I wish I had thought of this whilst brainstorming for potential business ideas with Malko.B. Founders of Shoes Of Prey, I salute you for being simply brilliant!

Choose  material of choice, colour, how you want your heels to look, do you want it fully covered or peep toed?, do you want a big ribbon or small ribbon or no ribbons or how about some ruffles?

Here are some ready made examples for you to buy it as it is or customise to your liking:

The shoes are quite pricey, ranging from USD 180 for ballet flats to USD 330 for ankle boots. They ship worldwide at a cost of USD 25, so if you have the cash to give it a try, lemme know how it turns out! As of now, I wouldn't mind a gift certificate :)

Malko in THE BLawg

Omg. I've had so many ideas on what to blog about but have not had the time either because (i) I just don't have the time, (ii) I'm too tired, or (iii) by the time I start composing, it's already 1 am and despite my hands wanting to type, my brains won't function and desperately persuades my body to hit the sack for some good snooze. Ok, fine. I lie. I have not had that many ideas. Many being 1 or 2, but that's an improvement since I'm new to blogging and these were things I was excited to blog about and share with the readers of this blog! But minutes, hours, days have gone by and the excitement has sort of died down a little, so I'll blog on something new which has got me a little nervous, excited, don't-really-know-what-to-expect.

You see, by nature, I'm shy (hehe it's true). I like the limelight, but only if I'm not the only one in it (see, I'm generous and not a hogger like that). So, to have my name and thoughts published in the "BLawg"* is quite a big deal to me! If you're interested to read on the thoughts of some lawyers on the relevance of the Bar Council in Malaysia, check it out here and here. Just try your darnest not to fall asleep if that sort of reading is not your cup of tea!
